     Charlotte Danielson created a framework for teaching (CESA, MRHS, NCATE, n.d.). It encapsulates teaching within four broad domains as indicated from the diagram to the right. The four domains are:

  1. Planning and Preparation
  2. The Classroom Environment
  3. Instruction
  4. Professional Responsibilities
