Article 2: You have the right to be tutored by me or my substitute before or after school. I will be located in 243 or 240-0 (right across the hall). My voicemail number is 222-3050 extension 4201. Also my e-mail address is karadimosmd@mathguide.com.

Article 3: You have the right to visit the bathroom once during class per semester. Visits beyond the first will be matched, minute for minute, during detention. Students who do not use the bathroom will receive 10 extra credit points for the semester.

Article 4: You have the right to do extra credit as it is assigned by Mr. Karadimos or his substitute. Ideas for extra credit assignments will be proposed to Mr. Karadimos outside of class.

Article 5: You have a right to a challenging education that will be protected. Therefore, the following procedures will be adopted and implemented by Mr. Karadimos or his substitute:

  1. Absences: Morton has a 10-day drop policy that will be closely enforced. Being absent will obviously negatively affect your grade.
  2. Tardies: Defined as not being in one's assigned seat when the beginning bell rings. Every detention that must be handled internally (1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8) will be a 10 min. detention, except for the first which will be a warning. All other tardies will be handled by the Dean's Office.
  3. Inappropriate Behavior: Any action which is in direct opposition to The Educational Credo will warrant warnings, detentions, parent conferences, and/or referrals, strictly at the discretion of Mr. Karadimos or his substitute.

Article 6: You have the right to examine this constitution. A copy will be given to you, posted in the classroom, and posted on the Internet at http://www.geocities.com/karadimosmd/.

Article 7: You have a right to appeal all decisions made by Mr. Karadimos or his substitute to the proper higher authorities.

Article 8: You will be afforded as much notice in advance as possible concerning amendments (changes) to this Constitution.
